The main concept to grasp is simple hex digit replacement. Download a hex editor. Breakpoint Software's Hex Workshop seems to be the most user friendly. It can be downloaded from www.bpsoft.com Once you have that, download the Material Drop file on the navigation bar. Pick a material file. Open it in hex. Click Edit. Go to replace. Open the Item Digits page on the navigation bar. Enter the digits for the material you chose for the find option. Then put in the desired item's hex digits into the replace option. Save and overwrite the original file in the dvd folder of pso. Launch the game from your console and go to forest 1. Every item that drops will be your desired item.
